We first taught students.
Now we invest in them.
The CS Inspiration Impact Fund is the long-term layer of our program pipeline. It is a small, student-managed pool of ESG-screened capital, held for the long term and routed back into the students and programs it came from.
A small, patient pool. Routed back into students.
The CS Inspiration Impact Fund is where the programs hand off to a longer commitment. We first taught students; now we invest in them. The fund is student-managed and holds ESG-screened equities. Realised gains are routed into need-based scholarships and seed funding for student-led projects. A share of those gains also flows back into CS Inspiration's operating budget, so we are not entirely dependent on outside grants.
CSIF is the last layer in the CSI pipeline. Numbers to Networks reaches students through the classroom. Maths4Threads reaches them through the platform. VietAlpha reaches the research and policy community. CSIF reaches students who graduate out of the programs and need a next step.

Shares describe how realised gains are routed once they exist. The fund is held for the long term, so distributions ramp as gains accrue.
How the fund touches every program.
Capital is small. Its job is to keep the programs running and the next cohort moving, line by line.
Quiet, accountable, and on the record.
The fund is small and the rules around it are simple. What follows describes the state of the fund today.
Student-managed
The portfolio is run by CSI students, not outside advisors. Decisions, investment theses, and reviews happen inside the team.
ESG-screened holdings
The fund holds equities screened against CSI's mission. No speculative positions and no leverage.
Patient horizon
Capital is held for the long term. There is no investor exit pressure shaping the timeline.
Reinvested returns
Realised gains route into scholarships, seed funding for student-led projects, and CSI's operating budget.
One line of support among several
The fund sits alongside grants and partnerships and is designed to complement them, not stand in for them.
Open about the size
Allocated capital today is roughly $75,000, and the figure grows as the programs grow. Last reviewed: May 2026.
